Job position: Master HOPE-Humanitarian Operation in Emergency – Part-time Didactic Coordinator
Where: remotely and in presence when Workshops in Rome and Madrid
Starting date: January 2025 (pre-training on Dec. 2024)
Duration: 24-36 month (January 2025-January 2026-27)
Planned commitment: Part-time (around 50 hours per month)

Description of the role:
The selected person will have the role of Master Didactic Coordinator at the Social Change School, including around classroom Workshops in presence to be carried out between Madrid and Rome.
During the first stage, you will receive support in the form of coaching and training in the areas of work and organisational culture.
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated to work in the social and educational field. With experience preferably in the field of training and/or in humanitarian sector, as Project Manager or similar. Strong results orientation, attention to detail and accuracy, problem solving and multitasking, with the ability to create internal cohesion, optimism, and commitment.
More in detail, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Overall coordination of Master HOPE didactic activities
- Online tutoring through the e-learning platform: virtual classroom training, chat management, forum, noticeboard, uploading and management of didactic modules.
- Organisation of face-to-face workshops: logistics, venue management, contact with teachers.
- Classroom tutoring when required
- Monitoring of the training and learning process in the various environments of the e-learning platform: elaboration of tests and exercises, elaboration of reports, seminars, and Master.
- Follow the Project Works process and the students’ teams.
Requirements:

- Possibility to organize the 3-4 days workshops in presence once a month (Rome, Madrid- Europe)
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Psychology, Political Science, Social Sciences, Economics, and/or related subjects
- Strong motivation and commitment to the education and social sector – NGOs.
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Excellent knowledge of the Office package and Internet browsing.
- Passion for didactics and or international development
Other desirable requirements:

- Knowledge of the Moodle e-learning platform.
- Work experience (also junior) in the field of training or humanitarian sector
- Good knowledge of Italian (minimum level B2, spoken and written).
- Specific experience in the field of training, tutoring and classroom management.
- Practice with Microsoft or Google package (Outlook, Planner, Calendar, etc)
- Practice with AI
- Living in Rome
- Being a Social Change Former Student

Key Responsibilities:
- Online Community management: oversee and manage the Alumni community on our exclusive LinkedIn group, in collaboration with the Career Development Service Lead. Support engagement across other relevant channels as needed.
- Communication coordination: develop and send targeted Direct Email Marketing (DEM) campaigns in collaboration with the school’s Communication Lead, ensuring timely and impactful communication with our Alumni network.
- Event planning: design and organize 1-2 in-person events for the Alumni community each year, working closely with the Social Change School staff to deliver memorable and meaningful experiences.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in community management, alumni network,
- event planning, or related roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and other online engagement platforms.
- Practice with Microsoft or Google package (Outlook, Planner, Calendar, etc)
- Practice with AI
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- A passion for social change and community building is a strong plus!
