Daniela Fatarella
Daniela Fatarella is currently the CEO at Save the Children Italia. She previously held the position of Deputy CEO and before that of Head of Marketing and Communications, always at Save the Children Italy.
Before Save the Children, she used to work as Marketing and Fundraising Director at Greenpeace Italy and as National Director at CBM– Christian Blind Mission, where she coordinated the start up in Italy (acquiring 140.000 donors in the first three years).
Daniela is an expert in Social Communication, Fundraising Techniques, Direct Email Marketing, consultant and trainer in some of the most important Italian and international NGOs and also in the Social Change School. She is a Social Change School Alumna, class of 1999.
She was born in Pisa in 1974. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and worked as marketing consultant at Studio Lentati for several years. She has started working for Save the Children Italy in 2004 as a Donors Recruiter and Development Manager. She also worked on the development of fundraising activities connected to the recruitment of donors, which is the core business of the organization. Daniela has travelled across Africa and India, has deep passion for cooperating in general and also for her job. Her life and work experiences in developing countries have given her the opportunity to enrich her cultural understanding and most iimportantly her soul.
