Senior Adviser - Master In Project Management for International Cooperation
Farida is Director for Humanitarian Policy at the International Rescue Committee.
She is an expert in development co-operation, humanitarian aid and advocacy. She has worked for the Organisation for Economic Development and Cooperation (OECD) and the NGO Oxfam on the effectiveness of international aid to developing countries. She has also carried out humanitarian assignments in about fifteen countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.

Farida founded and managed the Campaigns Office of Oxfam International in Italy and contributed to the establishment of Oxfam Italia by defining its political positioning, advocacy and lobbying on global development and climate change issues. She also founded and directed the Brussels chapter of the NGO International Rescue Committee.

Farida holds a Master’s degree in international relations from Yale University and another Master’s degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Milan. Among her publications is her contribution to the first OECD-UNDP report Making Development Co-operation More Effective, as well as to the Princeton Journal of Public and International Affairs.

Since 1999 Farida has collaborated with Social Change School as a lecturer in advocacy, campaigning and strategic analysis. She lives in Paris and dreams of changing the world and learning to cook like Ratatouille.
