Faced with this scenario, the third sector cannot remain behind. Far from adopting a ‘one fits all’ approach, it is therefore necessary to analyze the specificities of each process and develop a proper human-AI hybridisation strategy.
With this approach in mind, Crescenzi&Partners, in collaboration with Social Change School, has developed SAI (Social Artificial Intelligence), Programme, a massive – long-term programme aimed to create a widespread grassroots culture in the Third Sector on the subject of Artificial Intelligence, addressing all the involved stakeholders.

and the workshop are:
- Learning the basics of Artificial Intelligence (what it means, what its enablers are, what is meant by ‘AI ethics’ and how the related legal framework is developing).
- Becoming familiar with the main AI-based tools available to the general public (for free or at a minimal price), understanding how to evaluate them in order to choose the right one for a specific purpose.
- Learning how to integrate the use of AI tools into several key phases of Project Cycle Management, in particular:
- Formulation phase (needs assessment with secondary data, Logical Framework, Concept Note).
- Monitoring phase (Donor reporting, survey processing as source of verification).
- Learning the most useful AI query and instruction techniques (prompt engineering).
