Coordinator of international AID of the Italian Caritas and head of the delegation of the international Caritas at FAO, WFP and IFAD. Member of the Italian delegation NGOs at the European Commission and at the Executive Council of the Directorate for Development Cooperation of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He Specializes in large population health emergency management, ecology of communities and rural development, conflict resolution. He has lived and worked in 135 countries, published 20 books and 600 articles .

He is passionate about international, political and social change. He is the author of numerous monographies and essays in its specific fields of interest.
