Luisa Galbiati, former student of the Master in Social Innovation talks about her one-year experience in ASVI Social Change.
“I was looking for a Master which could give me skills, vocabulary, network and competences in a sector, that of the Non Profit, that the majority still consider to be simply linked to the voluntary work. Attending ASVI Social Change Master was like climbing a mountain.
There were some happy and some difficult times. The team work together with the project work are undoubtedly the two strongest assets of the course. All of us knew we had to invest all our energies, our time and commitment. Climbing this mountain was though: setbacks, unforeseen events and heavy workload were all part of the journey.
Like in any successful rope party we all took turns in supporting each other and we got to the peak all together and from this perspective we now share a new vision of the world in our future as change makers.
My objective at this stage is to make the best out of all the competences I have acquired and turning them into a real profession: I want to become a consultant that helps companies, organizations and associations in their process of social innovation. In order to achieve my goal, I definitely need a solid and wide network and I do trust the contacts I’ve built through my ASVI Social Change Master year.
For the time being I am investing all my strengths in So Lunch: the result of my project work which has already obtained international recognition. Stay tuned!”
