Roberta Spadone

Master HOPE Coordinator

I am Roberta Spadone, the coordinator of the Hope Master’s program. I have a degree in International Relations from the University of Bari.

After my university studies I participated in several volunteer projects both with local associations and abroad (in Belgium and France).

Crucial was my year of European Voluntary Service in Cyprus, where I had the opportunity to organize socially oriented activities and work at the Caritas migrant center.

This experience strengthened my vocation in the third sector and I left for Greece, Athens, where I lived and worked for 4 years as a caseworker at associations that dealt with refugees. During these years I was in charge of assisting the beneficiaries and helping them find documents, housing and connecting them with other associations for legal and psychological assistance.

After this wonderful experience I decided to return to Italy and enroll in the PMC Master’s program, because I felt the need to go to the next level and acquire skills in project management.

So I started to collaborate with the School, because I like to help future social change makers.

I love painting, running, movies and hiking in nature.
