Alice Novello

Community Manager

Alice holds a degree in International Development and Cooperation and obtained the Master’s in Project Management for International Cooperation from the Social Change School in 2023-2024. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a semester abroad in Vilnius, Lithuania, enriching her education with an international perspective.

As a social and international cooperation project manager, Alice is driven by a deep passion for stakeholder collaboration, dedicated to building cohesive and resilient networks that generate a positive impact. In 2022-2023, she worked at an international adoption agency in Vicenza and thereafter at a Volunteer Service Center in Venice. Her vocation for volunteering has been evident since she was very young: at just 18 years old, she had her first international experience in Indonesia, collaborating with an orphanage in Surabaya. Following this, she continued to cultivate this commitment, volunteering in Amman, Jordan, with Syrian and Iraqi refugees.

Currently, Alice works at the Social Change School as a Community Manager, actively contributing to the growth of this network, which is the largest community of international cooperation professionals in the world. Alice is determined to provide a reference point for cultivating meaningful relationships, discovering new professional opportunities, and staying up-to-date on the international cooperation sector. In addition to her work, Alice volunteers in her home community, organizing, together with a group of friends, an annual festival to raise awareness about issues such as the environment and physical and mental well-being. She loves camping, long walks, and reading.

Among her favorite hobbies is creating mandalas. She believes that “The world lies in the hands of those that have the courage to dream and who take the risk of living out their dreams” (P. Coelho). This phrase guides her actions, both in her professional and personal life, pushing her to pursue ambitious projects and be part of a collective social change.
