Silva Sulebi
Silva Sulebi is focal point In Middle Est for The Career Development Service of Social Change School. Silva was born in Syria, in Homs, where she graduated in French literature and, at the same time, she trained in psychological assistance to women and minors. She taught French at a high school then she started working on social projects for relevant entities such as the Church of St. Saviour in Homs and the SSSD (Syrian Society for Social Development), a UNHCR partner, where she directed the psychological support program for mothers victims of war.
In 2015-2016 she was responsible for the literacy program for women victims of violence at the UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) reception center.
After arriving in Italy, a country where she took refuge to safeguard his two teenage children, she started looking for Associations with which to collaborate to bring help to Syria.
From 2019 to 2021 she became a referent for the development of relations between Italian Associations and Near Eastern Entities in Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, and Iraq.
She has volunteered in several humanitarian missions in Lebanon and Jordan and worked as a coordinator in logistics and translator.
Silva, who loves to create bridges for exchanges between Europe and the Near East Countries, today shares with Social Change School and its students her rich wealth of knowledge, contact on the field and experience.
