Filippo was born in Rome and in 1998 he graduated in International Relations with a thesis on Islamic Immigration in Italy, comparing the two cultures.

Between 1998 and 2000 he worked in the UK as Responsible of media relations and press office activities for the European Market at PR Officer Europe- Lotus Cars Ltd, Hethel.

In 2000 he went back to Rome as Responsible of the Press Office and Communications Department, startup in the telecommunication sector at Communications and PR Officer-Projetel srl.

Since 2001, he started working at Save the Children Italia as Head of Communications, Campaigning and Volunteers.

He is in charge of managing the office and its budget and he is the spokesperson of the Organization. He started working in Save the Children Italia when the organization was still at the very beginning. It opened in 1999 and within 10 years reached remarkable levels of brand awareness and brand reputation.

The Communications Office played a fundamental role in the growth of the organization by thinking, planning and implementing integrated campaigns such as Rischiamo il Futuro, Every One and Ricordiamoci dell’Infanzia, Atlante Infanzia, just to mention a few. They all contributed to making Save the Children one of the major Non Profit Organizations in Italy.

Thanks to the efficiency of the Press Office, Save the Children increased its presence in the media becoming one of the most renowed and influential voices in the sector. In over 10 years, Save the Children has distinguished itself from its competitors thanks to an efficient, authoritative, influential and innovative communication.

Between 2006 and 2008, he was part of the international team of Save the Children for the development and implementation of the first ever-global campaign of the Organization, “Rewrite the Future” to get education for children affected by war and conflict.

Since 2009, he has been collaborating with Save the Children International in the development and implementation of the global campaign “Every One” to stop child mortality.

In 2010, he was named Best Communicator of the Year for social organization, a prize promoted by FERPI, Federazione Relazioni Pubbliche Italiana and by Fondazione Valentino for Premio Ischia Internazionale of Journalism, 32nd edition.

Since 2014, he has been working with Save the Children International on the global campaign launched in 2016.

Between 2012 and 2014, he was part of the Steering Committee of GMU (Global Media Unit) of Save the Children and contributed in defining the global strategy of the Press office and creating the team of GMU.

Since 2014, he has been part of the international team to define global Brand Strategies.
